Company
History

K.G.B.
Security Locksmiths Pty Ltd is a fully Australian-owned
family company operating in Brisbane, Queensland.
Founded
in 1988 by three brothers - Kel, Geoff and
Brock Phillips, the business had humble
beginnings working from a home in Greenbank.
By
1990, the successful business had moved
to Acacia Ridge and just four years later
the flourishing partnership was transformed
into a company becoming: K.G.B. Security
Locksmiths Pty Ltd.
K.G.B.
were among the first in their industry to
embrace computerisation in their business.
This enabled them to increase productivity,
service levels and profitability, which
set them apart from their competitors.
As
the demand for their services in the marketplace
grew, K.G.B. expanded its operations, opening
a northern suburbs branch in Taringa on
Moggill Road.
After
continual exceptional growth K.G.B. outgrew
its Acacia Ridge office and, in 1997, moved
the head office to 793 Boundary Road, Coopers Plains. The
larger premises allows for improved staff
training facilities and more effective specialised
updates from industry suppliers, resulting
in overall increased employee skill levels
and productivity.
Then in April 2006, K.G.B. moved to its current location of 742 Beaudesert Road, Rocklea. This was a huge logistical problem however the purpose-built fit out has resulted in a dramatic increase in productivity.
Progressive
business operations and strategic marketing,
combined with lots of hard work, has seen
K.G.B Security Locksmiths rapidly become
Brisbane's premier locksmith company.
