We get a wide diversity of locksmith jobs called through to the workshop each day. No two are the same and are scattered all over Brisbane. Last Friday we received a call for a Mt Gravatt locksmith and we got there fast. Our job on Friday was for a caravan rescue in need of a emergency mobile locksmith. We got the call from an elderly gentleman, Mr M, who was desperate and needed help after his lock collapsed on his caravan door. The key turned, but the lock did not unlock, (it usually happens in old door locks).
The urgency was his medications were inside and he needed to take them ASAP. After calling KGB, Paul one our most senior locksmiths, got there in 30 minutes and let Mr M in without any fuss. He was so relieved to see KGB get there so fast and remedy the situation. Now even though Mr M lives in Mt Gravatt and we are based in Taringa and Rocklea, our licensed locksmiths are mobile 24 hours a day. We are thrilled when we get people out of a pickle. This time Paul got there quickly and averted a potentially dire situation.
Now even though it isn’t always at the top of your mind, lock maintenance should be a part of your Sunday ‘to do list’ once or twice a year. We have created a how to maintain your locks blog post, click HERE to read it.
Please note the featured image in the blog post is not Mr M’s caravan, we just thought it was funky and worth a share. Caravan locks should be checked before trips are taken. We are more then happy to get our friendly, mobile locksmiths to check your caravan over. Better to have it sorted before a trip commences.
