KGB Home Alarms

Providing exceptional service and quality performance in digital security and home alarms for over 15 years.

Home alarms have become more accessible to home owners who wish to have peace of mind whilst they are away from home. Anyone who has every experienced a break in at home will fully understand the feeling of personal invasion. Most criminals look for the easy job when they decide to break in. If they notice from the street that you have an alarm system they will bypass your home.

Find Peace of Mind With An Alarm System For Your Home

Having a security alarm installed in your home is an easy process without too high a cost depending on your home size and access points. Most alarm systems today have easy check in and alert options that can be self managed or monitored depending on your situation and this additional cost is not a pre-requisite for having an alarm installed.

We will give you the full scope of options that are available for your situation so that you don’t pay for more than you need.

The Bosch Self-Monitored Alarm

The Bosch 6000 Self Monitored alarm system is a game changer in the home and commercial security market. We would go even as far to say it is one of the best wireless self monitored home security systems on the market. Their cameras are designed to reduce false triggers from your environment. Such as wind, trees, cars, and domestic animals. It offers both smartphone and desktop video capture messaging, making easy check-ins on the furry or human babies.

Smoke, gas and flood detectors are also available as an add on. A wrist and neck panic button for the elderly is also available. Family members can relax and have peace of mind knowing those needing help will have it with the touch of a button.

Hardwired Alarm Systems

Here at KGB Security Systems Brisbane, we use a core selection of suppliers to implement all the hardwired security solutions our clients need. We offer state of the art security systems with both alarm and CCTV solutions.

Hardwired Alarms include:

Fully customisable systems
High pixels cameras
State of the art IP sensors
Superceded quality to reduce false alarm triggers
High quality images up to 15 mtrs away
Factory warranty

Although technology is rapidly innovating and changing, wired alarm systems are generally considered slightly more reliable than wireless systems. This is primarily because wired systems are connected to a stable power supply rather than relying on batteries. They also communicate through physical wiring rather than wireless networks or frequencies. Some argue that wireless alarm systems, which often use Wi-Fi, can pose a security risk in the event of network disruptions. In contrast, wired systems are not susceptible to such issues, as they use their own dedicated communication lines.

Choosing between wireless and wired systems depends on several factors, including the existing infrastructure. For instance, if a technician cannot easily run cables, a wireless system may be necessary. However, if the house is already pre-wired, installing a wired system can be more straightforward and reliable.

Can’t recommend KGB Locksmith and Security enough. Came into the office over the weekend and the master key got stuck in the door to the full building - couldn’t lock up, which left the whole tenancy exposed to potential theft. Stressful situation. A colleague pointed me to KGB. I called their 24-hour hotline at 2pm on a Saturday and was put straight through to a gentleman who walked me through the fix over the phone. Sorted the whole thing without any fuss, no callout required. What really stood out was the ethics and willingness to help. He could have sent someone out, but instead took the time to resolve it over the phone. Kind, prompt, and professional from start to finish. Massive thanks to the team at KGB for helping us out in a time of need - genuinely appreciated.

I am a difficult customer, I take 10 minutes to choose yogurt at the supermarket. Buying a safe is a big family purchase. I spent hours online before visiting KGB and spending time with Michael in the showroom he is knowledgeable and was able to help me decide on what priorities I should consider. I left then spent another few days looking online before giving Michael a call and ordering a great product that also represents some value. Worth taking the time to go see this company speak to them don’t just make it an online purchase. I am 100% confident I have purchased the right product.
