Diplomat fire safes are sold in Australia and manufactured in Korea. They are very similar to many other fireproof safes (read fire resistant safes & cabinets on the Australian market) and until recently were sold exclusively by via API Locksmiths. This 2nd hand fireproof Diplomat 4 drawer cabinet ( Diplomat DFC4000E ) is in near new condition. It comes with a easy to use digital lock on the top drawer which also controls access to the other 3 drawers. It has certification to protect paper from fire however it will NOT protect DATA from fire.
Some people incorrectly believe these cabinets can protect valuables (cash etc) from theft. The reality is that a criminal with a pinch bar or large screwdriver will easily pry the drawers open. This cabinet comes with a 12 month ONSITE warranty and as with all the other 2nd hand safes we sell, we can deliver it to almost anywhere in Australia.
