Description
This is the best safe that Chubb Safes Australia ever manufactured, it has a Anti Arc door and body, Anti Arc (called AA ) is a type of material that as the name implies will resist the very best thermic cutting technology. It is a combination of materials that is incredibly hard to cut and drill. This safe weighs 2400 kg , these were purchased by the Banking companies to store large amounts of currency and was sold for around $22,000 in 1992. The Chubb Isolator safe is the standard that other safe companies have tried to mimic.
This refurbished safe has a cash rating of $400,000 and is fitted with twin vault locks, in addition this safe is fitted with internal treasury cabinets. External size is 1800 x 770 x 820mm H W D. Ideally suitable for storing, Gold, Bullion and precious jewellery. The current equivalent is the Chubb Europa Grade 5 which sells for $16000 and in my opinion doesn’t even come close to the quality of this safe. If anyone has a contrary view I gleefully will challenge them to drill a hole in the Isolator while I time them and then do the same in the Europa G5. Because of the weight of this safe I strongly urge you to engage a structural engineer if the safe is going on a domestic floor slab.
This Chubb Isolator was originally purchased by the Bank of QLD and fitted with Chubb Safe Co vault locks, we can easily perform a digital safe lock conversion to make it more user friendly. Options for the standard safe-locks include fingerprint safe lock upgrade, safe timelock option, safe time delay lock, as well as a back to base duress function. Call our safe service centre for more information on this or any other safe.
