This refurbished Chubb safe is a great example of Chubb Australia’s manufacturing plant. The Canberra was used by thousands of Brisbane businesses to protect their cash & records from theft and fire. This particular safe was birthed as a keylock only however we have added a state of the art digital lock to it. This Chubb safe weighs 477kg and measures 755 x 616 x 609mm (H W D ).

This Chubb Canberra is in great condition and like all safes we sell comes with a 12 month onsite warranty. If you live outside of Brisbane we can arrange to ship it to anywhere in Qld. In fact given enough time we can arrange to ship it anywhere in Australia. When you compare the weight of this Chubb safe to other newer ones on the market you will soon see it is priced very well.

An equivalent safe would be the CMI Commerce safe or the Guardall KS series. The heavy duty boltwork runs from the locking side through to the hinge side. The locking bars are solid 32 mm steel and can withstand incredible amounts of punishment.

This safe is filled with concrete which gives excellent protection from fire. In fact we were called to open a Chubb safe (it was a Chubb Isolator) which had been subjected to a fire that raged in Cannonvale Shopping Centre for 3 hours. When we opened the safe the contents were in perfect condition. This is an illustration of the insulative properties of concrete against heat.
