This fireproof 4 drawer Firemaster safe (its actually a cabinet, model BF6804D ) was sold and distributed by Wormald Fire. Wormald Fire was a proud Australian company that was snapped up by Tyco one of the worlds largest companies. Wormald Fire has almost closed their safe division and they are only selling a few items from their once huge range. Most fire proof safes sold in Australia today are sourced from Asia. This particular fireproof filing cabinet was made in Korea and is rated to protect paper records from fire.

Contrary to popular opinion many fire proof safes are UNSUITABLE for protecting valuables from theft or data (USB sticks, hard drives and DVD’s ) from destruction by heat. This fireproof Firemaster cabinet has a spin combination on the top drawer which controls the other 3 drawers, When the top drawer is locked the ones below cannot be opened. The replacement price for this (and other comparable) fire resistant filing cabinets is around $2000. This Firemaster fire safe comes with a 12 month ONSITE warranty. We can also deliver (and position) it to just about any location in Australia. ( keys are available for each drawer for an additional cost)
