Sargent & Greenleaf are commonly referred to as S & G by those familiar with this American company. Back in 1865 the company started producing high grade spin combination locks and have dominated the safe & Vault industry up until recently.

A spin combination will always take longer to open than a digital lock. But the only servicing a digital lock needs is a battery change every couple of years.
